Upcoming community events
Every production, performance, and initiative is centered around giving back to our local and international communities. Volunteer, donate or drop off supplies to join our fight for a stronger community.
Haven on the Queensway is a charitable organization meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in Etobicoke and surrounding communities.
Haven on the Queensway has developed many partnerships with community organizations and churches who have come alongside our organization to provide relief to people in crisis situations. We offer services that lessens the effects of poverty and homelessness, addiction and recovery, distributing food and clothing as well as providing support services for women, children, and seniors.
Families of Virtue is a non-profit organization working to Bring Together Communities and Families in Brampton and Malton. Their vision is to nurture and build family values within the community.
Anyone in the community is welcome to join and participate in their wide range of free programs;
Breakfast for school aged children, Afterschool Homework Support, Friday Family Fun Night, Arts and crafts, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Holiday Celebrations, Recreational Activities, and an Annual BBQ.
Every Saturday and Sunday morning, St Stephen’s — with the support of two other congregations, as well as students and teachers — serves a free breakfast for low-income members of the community. They provide between 100 and 150 breakfasts each Saturday and each Sunday, frequently more.
The programme is staffed by volunteers and funded entirely by donations from supporters.
Open Heaven’s Mission is a ministry which reaches out to aid and bring hope to the people of Venezuela.
Venezuela is in humane crisis, meaning: highest inflation in the world, corrupt government, undernourishment in the whole country, no medicine, and no jobs. Open Heavens is currently organizing a mission trip to help create jobs, sustain a community, and to find a way to restore health.
Your donations will go towards food, medicine, money, and clothing for those in need. And while there, Open Heaven will also spread the Gospel of Jesus to those effected. #prayforvenezuela
North American culture often forgets our elderly community and casts them to the side - something James & Judy Hughes realized was a prominent problem. So in 2011 they started the Toronto Seniors’ Corner.
This initiative provides companionship and free refreshments at a weekly group meeting for local seniors, as well as transportation services. TSC also organizes and funds social events for the Seniors like trips to Ripley's Aquarium and Niagara falls.
Toronto Seniors Corner is run by volunteers and is funded 100% by donations. Fill out our Contact Form to donate.
